Camping near Copper Creek Farm

Camping is a great way to spend some time with the family and experience life outside of your norm. At Copper Creek Farm, we like fun and adventures. You can see that this year in our corn maze with the Wizard of Oz cut into it, and our special Christmas at Copper Creek Farm. We’ve compiled a list of wonderful camping spots in our area to help you add to your family fun and adventure while you come visit us for the holidays!

ARENA

Salacoa Creek Park – Located at 388 Park Drive, Ranger, GA. This quaint park offers a wide variety of amenities. Their location includes 32 RV sites with 30 amp electric hook-ups, water, a fire ring, picnic tables, deck, and dump station. If you don’t have an RV, that’s okay! Salacoa Creek has 25 primitive camping sites with restrooms and shower facilities. There is a swimming beach with lifeguards on duty from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and a boat launch area with boat rentals (electric motors only) available. So take one out and go fishing! They also offer 2 playgrounds to help kids run around get some of that energy out. This friendly site is located just 21 miles from Copper Creek Farm.

Harvest Moon RV Park – Located at 1001 Poplar Springs Rd., Adairsville, GA. This site is the closest to us at only 9 miles away. They welcome big rigs with slide-outs and have 54 pull-thru sites with full hook-ups available. They also have 28 back-in sites available. You can’t go wrong with a park that offers complimentary cable TV, a laundromat, and a large swimming pool! The restrooms and shower houses are heated/air conditioned and there is internet access. The clubhouse has a sitting room with a tv in it, and your little fur babies are welcome on grounds as well! Don’t like missing church on Sunday mornings? There’s a Park Chapel, so you won’t have to!

KOA Campgrounds – Located at 800 Cassville-White Rd. NW Cartersville, GA. This lovely campground is managed by Jay and Ann Camp, and is surrounded by greenery, beautiful trees, and the red-rock rolling hills of northern Georgia . It offers quick-and-easy access from I-75, several large pull thru sites and two pet-walk areas for your fur babies to play around. At this site, guests are only 20 miles from Copper Creek Farm and around 50 miles from Atlanta. Other close by attractions include the Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site, the 1880s covered bridge, Pickett’s Mill Battlefield Historic Site, Weinman Mineral Gallery at Tellus Science Museum, and Booth Western Art Museum.
